Luxury resort group Aman is introducing a sibling to its flagship brand.
It unveiled Janu, a new more affordable and ‘energetic’ alternative to Aman, and is kicking it off with three new properties.
They will launch in Montengro, Al Ula in Saudi Arabia, and Tokyo in 2022.
Janu Montenegro will be the first hotel to incorporate the brand’s serviced residence concept.
Janu is the result of two years’ research and will feature more communal, social experiences to tap a younger generation of guests.
The social spaces will comprise dining, lounge and bar areas, and there will be comprehensive wellness amenities including hydro and thermal facilities.
“We saw a white space in the market, and we want to push the hotel industry into a new sphere.,” said Aman CEO Vladislav Doronin.
Established more than 30 years ago, the Aman portfolio numbers 32 hotels in 20 countries, nine hotels under construction, and a strong development pipeline.
