Cayman Islands plan for reopening
The Cayman Islands has unveiled its phased reopening plans for tourism in Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, and Little Cayman. The Cayman Islands has already reduced quarantine periods and eased some travel restrictions.
Under the five-phase timeline, all vaccinated travellers can skip quarantine from 14 October, while unvaccinated children under 12 will be allowed to travel with vaccinated parents the following month.
Currently, a reduced quarantine period of five days is in place for fully vaccinated travellers. Once all conditions of the five-phase plan have been met, including local vaccination rates, cruise tourism may resume, which is expected to be in early-2022.
