The World’s Best Hotels, Resorts, Countries, Cities, Islands, Spas, Trains, Airlines, Airports and Cruises Ranked by Travelers
Lake District, 7 October 2020 – Condé Nast Traveler has announced the results of its annual Readers’ Choice Awards with Linthwaite House (https://leeucollection.com/UK) recognized as the 29th best hotel in the United Kingdom and the only one in the Lake District to make the list.
Just a year after it completed its £12-million-plus renovation, Linthwaite House is honoured to be included in the Condé Nast Traveler awards, among peers that include long-established luxury hotels such as Cliveden House, Gleneagles, Summer Lodge and Coworth Park.
Said Analjit Singh, Founder of Leeu Collection, which owns Linthwaite House, “I am delighted that the hard work of the entire team has paid off and been recognised by the most highly regarded travel awards in the world. We highly value our customers and work hard to ensure they enjoy amazing experiences when they stay with us, by always partnering with the best in class, such as Simon Rogan who operates Linthwaite House’s Henrock restaurant, so we are extremely grateful to them for recognising that effort and taking the time to vote for us”.
More than 715,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers submitted an incredible number of responses rating their travel experiences across the globe.
“The results of this year’s survey, conducted at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, are a testament to the lasting power of a meaningful travel experience,” said Jesse Ashlock, U.S. Editor of Condé Nast Traveler . “The winners represent the best of the best for our audience and offer plenty of trip-planning inspiration for all the adventures we can’t wait to have next.”
The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry. The full list of winners can be found here.
