The Valley in Cornwall is offering a new adventure package, combining five-star gold self-catering accommodation with coasteering along one of the UK’s most stunning coastlines.
The three-night break includes accommodation in a cottage at the luxury Valley resort and a coasteering session with Newquay Activity Centre, the pioneer of coasteering in Cornwall and Gold winners at the South West Tourism Awards 2019.
One of the fastest growing ocean-based activities, coasteering offers a buzz like no other; clamber through old smugglers’ caves, spot incredible marine life, negotiate natural rapids and whirlpools before attempting adrenaline-charged sea cliff jumps. The trips start out from Towan Beach in Newquay, the gateway to the Gazzle peninsula, which boasts some of the most beautiful, ecologically diverse and historically fascinating coasteering routes in Europe.
Back at the Valley, ease tired muscles in the exclusive leisure centre with indoor swimming pool and spa pool, or book one of the cottages with its own private hot tub. Nestled in thirteen acres of gardens and woodland, the attractive, modern cottages are equipped with everything required in a home away from home, with the perks of five-star facilities on tap.
The three-night break costs from £675 including accommodation in a two-bedroom cottage (sleeping four) and a coasteering session for four (minimum age eight years old; private sessions can be booked to accommodate all ages, supplement applies).
