Copa Airlines will boost service to Tampa beginning daily flights from next month.
The carrier is seeing sufficient demand to expand its service to Panama which currently operates four times a week.
The new daily frequencies start on July 14.
“We are constantly seeking opportunities to offer our passengers more flight options. This led us to evaluate every route and examine the possibility of increasing flight frequency. We see potential in these markets as demand has increased over this past year,” said airline CEO Pedro Heilbron who also announced an increase to five weekly flights from Panama to Fort Lauderdale.
“Having flights from Panama seven days a week makes it easier for our Latin American guests to come enjoy our world-famous beaches, nightlife and amusement parks,” said Tampa International Airport’s CEO Joe Lopano.
Copa’s operates about 350 flights a day out of its main hub in Panama.
