Gulf Air launching Singapore flights
Bahrain national carrier Gulf Air will launch a new weekly route to Singapore starting in April.
The airline will operate Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft on the route with 282 seats in a two-class configuration, including 26 Falcon Gold Class seats.
It will operate out of Bahrain’s new terminal.
Gulf Air also flies to Southeast Asian cities Bangkok and Manila.
The airline previously served Singapore from the 1990s but discontinued the route in 2008.
The airline is noted for its premium leisure and business service, and Singapore is set to become one of its top long-haul routes, the airline said.
