The former Atlantic Bank Building, originally built in 1912 by iconic Chicago architect Benjamin Marshall, reopened as the Hotel Julian on October 1, 2018. With its iconic terracotta façade restored and enhanced by Hirsch Associates, LLC, the new hotel from Oxford Capital Group sits steps from Millennium Park. It includes a ground floor restaurant, About Last Knife (ALK), which features a folding glass wall separating its indoor and outdoor seating areas. The hotel is named for St. Julian Hospitaller, the patron saint of hospitality and innkeepers.
