Hyatt Hotels Corp has signed an agreement for a dual branded property in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.
It sealed a deal with Xuan Mai Sai Gon Construction Investment Joint Stock Company for Hyatt’s first dual-branded Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotel project in Southeast Asia.
It also marks Hyatt House’s brand debut in Vietnam.
It comprises the 300-room Hyatt Place Saigon, District 7 and the 250-room Hyatt House Saigon, District 7.
They form part of Eco Green Saigon, a mixed-use commercial and residential development.
“This project presents Hyatt with an ideal opportunity to launch the Hyatt House brand in Vietnam’s gateway city and has the potential to be a catalyst for further Hyatt Place and Hyatt House developments,” said Patrick Finn, Hyatt’s SVP of development, Asia-Pacific.
Hyatt Place Saigon, District 7 will feature an outdoor pool and fitness centre, a lobby lounge and meeting rooms.
The extended stay Hyatt House Saigon, District 7 offers studios and one-bedroom suites.
Construction is expected to be completed in 2023.
