Hyatt is expanding its footprint in Cambodia.
The Chicago based hotel group will open a new Hyatt Regency hotel in capital Phnom Penh in early 2021.
It joins Park Hyatt Siem Reap which officially opens early next month.
Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh was originally slated to open this summer.
It will have 247 guestrooms including 43 suites, and is located in the Doun Penh cultural and business district.
It is being designed by Singapore-based SCDA Architects.
“We believe the hotel will play a vital role in the city’s development and will become a landmark in the city,” said Hyatt’s Group President Asia Pacific, David Udell.
It will feature five F&B venues including The Attic speakeasy-style bar, and a rooftop restaurant.
It will also house a fitness centre, meeting space, a tropical infinity pool and spa, and the Regency Club Lounge.
