ISLANDS + VOLCANOES OF CENTRAL AMERICA
The Central America Volcanic Arc (CAVA) is a chain of volcanoes that forms the spine of the region and is therefore one of its defining characteristics. Volcanoes such as Arenal in Costa Rica and Masaya Volcano are frequented by visitors throughout the year. Now Dragoman will launch its new ‘Islands & Volcanoes of Central America’ tour travelling through Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica in an all volcano encompassing tour of Central America. Highlights include exploring colonial Antigua, the ruins of Copan, a boat trip to the island of Roatán, getting active in Costa Rican cloud forests and helping a local community project, all in the shadows of CAVA’s most impressive members. The 21-day tour is priced from £1,530 + £430 to the kitty which funds accommodation, meals, activities and entry fees. Excludes international flights. www.dragoman.com/holidays/details/islands-and-volcanoes-of-central-america
