Jet2holidays has suspended all holidays up to and including 14 April 2021.
In an announcement on its website it said all affected bookings will be automatically refunded.
“We want our customers to be on holiday enjoying themselves and we’re looking forward to resuming our award-winning holidays,” it added. “In the meantime, we’d like to thank you for your patience and understanding.”
It said customers who are due to travel from 15 April will be provided with an update closer to the time.
Jet2holidays had previously cancelled holidays until mid-March.
The latest suspension is due to the ‘ongoing uncertainty caused by the Covi-19 pandemic and government travel restrictions’ it said.
Jet2’s holidays to Iceland are suspended up to and including 26 April 2021.
Rival TUI announced last month that it wouldn’t operate any holidays until after 7 March but it hasn’t provided any update since.
In a first quarter trading update this morning, TUI said it expects to operate 80% of its summer 2019 programme this summer.
