JetBlue is adding more flights out of the New York area to meet Thanksgiving holiday demand.
More seasonal flights will operate over the long weekend to Florida cities including Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Orlando and Tampa for the holidays.
It will also add transcontinental routes to Los Angeles and San Francisco.
“As we head toward the holidays, we’re seeing signs of strong demand in certain markets. To help get more customers to their destinations and capture more revenue during this important time of year, we are adding additional flights,” said Scott Laurence, JetBlue’s head of Revenue and Planning.
The additional flights will run between 20-30 November and operate out of New York JFK, Newark; or Westchester County airports.
There will also be added service to the Caribbean and South America including Port-au-Prince, Haiti; San Juan in Puerto Rico; Santiago, Chile; and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
