JetBlue is launching new flights to South Florida, offering direct service to Miami and Key West for the first time.
It will fly non-stop service to Miami from 11 February 2021, from New York, Newark, Boston, and Los Angeles, with up to 14 flights a day.
Key West will be linked to New York and Boston, with flights operating four days a week.
It is part of wider expansion plans to start 24 new routes by the first half of 2021.
Although JetBlue has never flown to MIA, it has a major focus city in nearby Fort Lauderdale.
It also announced two more new destinations – Los Cabos and Guatemala City.
It will offer daily flights to both cities from New York and to Los Cabos out of Los Angeles.
Flights to Miami, Los Cabos, and Guatemala City will be operated on JetBlue’s Airbus A320 aircraft, while the Key West service will be flown by Embraer 190 jets.
