Journey Latin America Adds New Chile Holiday

Specialist tour operator Journey Latin America has designed a brand new 13-day holiday itinerary in Chile to complement their recently launched Trailblazer holiday style.
Designed with the trailblazer in mind, this new covid-conscious holiday style is for pioneering spirits seeking an element of adventure, and offers travellers the opportunity to be the first to experience a country’s key attractions once restrictions are lifted. These slower paced itineraries have been specifically created with the health of the traveller at the heart of their planning and are designed to incorporate just a few select hotels, set in secluded locations that will form a base for explorations. Where possible, Trailblazer itineraries are based on private services and overland transportation, either in a private vehicle with a driver or as a self-drive journey to facilitate ‘bubble’ arrangements.
Trailblazer Chile takes in two of the country’s most awe-inspiring and contrasting landscapes. Torres del Paine National Park in southern Patagonia is home to gigantic glaciers, emerald lakes and granite peaks, while the Atacama Desert boasts bubbling geysers, sprawling salt flats and perfect cone-shaped volcanoes. The holiday also spends two nights on arrival in a lush vineyard lodge located in the Central Valley. The holiday cost is £5,722 per person and includes direct flights from London, domestic flights in Chile, transfers, excursions, upper mid-range hotels on a B&B basis, one lunch and one dinner.
David Nicols, Product Manager for Journey Latin America comments, “In Torres del Paine National Park some dates are already looking busy during the peak Jan-Feb summer months of 2022. Patagonia has a relatively short high season (November to mid-March) and although it still feels a long way off we think the next (21-22) season will be in demand as travellers re-arrange trips postponed during the pandemic and many of us begin to feel more confident about exploring once again. If you’re thinking of going next season, it may be worth making plans, with many prices on hold and booking policies more flexible. The shoulder months of Oct–Nov and late Mar–Apr are also a super time to visit Patagonia as it’s usually much quieter and the landscapes are stunning in Spring and Autumn.”
Travellers booking now with Journey Latin America will benefit from the most flexible terms that the tour operator has ever had: letting clients postpone or make changes 45 days before travel, whatever the reason.
