Key West’s Newest Cocoon
Privacy is the newest luxury in travel, and Harbor House is the newest hide-out.
Privileges once reserved for the George Clooneys and Taylor Swifts of the world, such as personalized escapes with unparalleled privacy, are now accessible to everyday travelers as a result of hospitality pivots due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Nestled inside The Marker Key West Harbor Resort property, Harbor House is a new collection of waterfront suites tucked away in Old Town with private entrances through which guests can enter and exit the hotel property discreetly.
Guests can feel cozy, safe and cocooned in a one or two-bedroom suite ranging from 1,000 – 1,400 square feet with luxuriously appointed living spaces that evoke the feeling of a comfy beach house with contemporary artwork, warm oak floors, modern rattan furniture and sumptuous linens.
Each Harbor House suite features a mid-century modern wet bar, with a selection of Key West beers and spirits for purchase, including Papa’s Pilar Rum, which is distilled within walking distance of the property.
In addition, guests can enjoy watching the sunset or gazing at the boats in the Key West Harbor from the comfort of their own private balcony.
“Key West is already known as a quintessential hideaway destination and now we can cater to travelers who crave more privacy and seclusion with the highly-anticipated launch of the Harbor House, said Lee Rekas, area director of sales and marketing for Highgate Hotels.
