Malaysia and Brunei have been added to the list of destinations exempt from England’s quarantine rules.
From today, arrivals from both countries will no longer have to self-isolate when they arrive in England.
Anyone who arrived from either country before 4am today will have to continue their 14-day quarantine.
Following rising rates of coronavirus infections in Andorra, the Bahamas and Belgium, all three countries were removed from the list on 8 August, meaning arrivals from these countries must quarantine for two weeks.
The government has made it clear that it is closely monitoring other countries with rising rates of infection, including France, and has said it could remove them from the quarantine exemption at short notice.
Here’s the updated list of quarantine-exempt destinations.
