Owned by the King of Morocco, Royal Mansour is a palatial oasis in the heart of Marrakech offering a serene escape from the bustling city just outside its medina walls.

Royal Mansour has launched a new three-night Family Escape Package ideal for its littlest world travelers. The offer includes complimentary access to the recently opened Le Jardin de Lila Kid’s Club where children can partake in Arabic lessons, Moroccan art activities, and themed scavenger hunts. While their little ones explore the gardens of Royal Mansour, parents can each enjoy one complimentary hammam or massage in the hotel’s iconic spa. The package also includes a dinner for the family at La Table restaurant, daily breakfast, private transfers and fast-track service at Marrakech Airport, and three nights in a two-bedroom riad complete with its own private rooftop terrace and plunge pool. Rates begin at 65,700 MAD (approx. $7,090) for two adults and two children under 18 years.
TURN THE PAGE
Influenced by the storied history of its surroundings, Royal Mansour has published two new books exclusively available to guests of the hotel. The first, “Lila is Looking for Mansour” is an Eloise-inspired children’s book that follows little Lila as she and head butler Mohamed explore the hotel uncovering its hidden passageways and undercover secrets. The book is written in French and English and is available in the boutique for 400 MAD (approx. $42). For adult guests, “Stories of Marrakech” is a collection of four essays written for the hotel bycelebrated French and Moroccan writers with their own personal ties to the city. The limited-edition book was published in a run of just 300 copies as a special gift to guests of the hotel.
NEW WAYS TO UNWIND
Known the world over for its intricate interiors and indulgent treatments, Royal Mansour has taken the spa experience to new heights with the introduction of Bespoke Hammam Treatments. Here, each step of the traditional technique will be personalized to the specific skincare needs of each guest using ingredients sourced from Morocco’s bountiful environment. Purifying clay, for example, has been collected from the Atlas Mountains while roses from the Kalaat Megouana valley are used in a new regenerating body wrap and local saffron is infused into the ‘gourmet glow’ wrap. Treatments begin at 1400 MAD (approx. $147) for 60 minutes.
A FASHIONABLE ESCAPE
In partnership with the Yves Saint Laurent-Pierre Berge Foundation, Royal Mansour has created the two-night Mon Marrakech package that includes complimentary access to the new YSL Museum, the Berber Museum, and the Majorelle Gardens. For those looking to dive deeper into the world of Yves Saint Laurent, a guided tour of his private home, Villa Oasis, can be arranged for an additional donation to the foundation. Package rates begin at 26000 MAD (approx. $2,737) for two guests inclusive of a complimentary dinner at La Grande Table Marocaine and private airport transfers with fast track service.
SCENTS OF DISCOVERY
Serge Lutens is an acclaimed French perfumer who has spent more than three decades developing fragrances from his meticulously designed home in Marrakech. Now, guests of Royal Mansour have been granted exclusive access to his enigmatic retreat for privately guided tours throughout his home and into his laboratory. The experience begins with a ride through the medina in a vintage motorcycle sidecar before arriving at the Serge Lutens estate for an afternoon tour. No photos are allowed inside making this a trip guests truly need to see to believe.
OVER THE TOP
While each accommodation at Royal Mansour can be considered an over the top experience – think private three-story homes, rooftop terraces, plunge pools, and more – the Grand Riad is the property’s true pièce de résistance. Measuring nearly 20,000 square feet, the palatial hotel-within-the-hotel is complete with its own two-level rooftop terrace, private cinema, hammam, gymnasium, and swimming pool with built-in water currant. With three bedrooms and an additional fourth boudoir adjacent to the master, the Grand Riad lends itself well to multi-generational family trips or once-in-a-lifetime vacations for a small group of friends. No detail is overlooked with the Grand Riad, thanks in large part to its dedicated staff of butlers, chefs, housekeepers, and watchmen available around the clock.
