National Holiday is chartering two full Polar Express trains after selling out its initial allocations on the popular steam railway.
Trade Sales Manager Claire Dutton said the operator had been ‘overwhelmed’ by demand from agents.
Polar Express breaks, set on the Wensleydale Railway, recreate the popular festive family film in real life. Families board a festively decorated steam and a team of actors recreate scenes from the movie.
“The Polar Express is a truly magical break, where families can get involved from wearing pyjamas to joining in with singing,” said Claire.
“We have been overwhelmed by the bookings from our agent partners, they have proved that lockdown hasn’t stopped them from spreading the word to their customers.”
Two-day Polar Express Breaks start at £129 for adults and £103.20 for children. There are a limited number of upgraded tickets available with seating in a more decorative carriage and gift of a ceramic Polar Express mug for an extra £15pp.
