It signed an agreement with owner PT Kapuk Naga Indah to manage the new build Hotel Indigo Jakarta Pantai Indah Kapuk.
The hotel will form an important part of Pantai Indah Kapuk, a new residential and lifestyle neighbourhood planned for Northern Jakarta.
The development will eventually encompass luxury homes, offices, a golf and country club, waterpark, a mall and other hotels.
The new 200-room hotel will be situated within an exclusive development on Golf Island within Pantai Indah Kapuk.
“Indonesia continues to be an important growth market for IHG, and we continue to see the demand for an aspirational lifestyle experience across segments,” said Serena Lim, IHG’s VP of Development, South East Asia and Korea.
Slated to open in 2022, it will feature function space, a gym, and a neighbouring Day Club, as well as various retail outlets within the property.
