Nevis Resort’s 30th Anniversary Has Staff Asking Questions
12 months, 12 vacation giveaways
ST. KITTS AND NEVIS, West Indies – The roles are reversed and in 2019, it’s the staff making requests. In celebration of its 30th anniversary of being owned by celebrated hotelier David Dodwell, Nisbet Plantation Beach Clubinvites the world to get to know it better – and possibly win one of 12 free vacations.
30th Anniversary Vacation Giveaway
The special bond between the ladies and gentlemen of Nisbet Plantation, as the staff is affectionately known, and guests has long been talked about over the past 30 years. Being so cherished, it was natural for the resort to put the two together for the 30thAnniversary Vacation Giveaway.
Every month in 2019, a different staff member will ask a question about the resort via video. Answers can be discovered by searching the resort’s website, NisbetPlantation.com. Entries can then be submitted on the website, on social media or using this link to the entry form.
The storied past of Nisbet Plantation, its authentic Nevisian offerings and its home on unspoiled, unhurried Nevis led to a variety of engaging questions. Entrants who are searching for the correct answer will discover treasures that are increasingly unique such as an island still without traffic lights, chain restaurants or even buildings taller than a coconut palm. They’ll learn about the Nevisian artist whose work graces the Great House (c 1778), the captivating love story of the British military hero marrying the island’s sweetheart and can even learn that the namesake of Broadway’s popular show Hamiltonwas born on this tiny island.
Each month a winner will be drawn from the pool of correct submissions. The winner will receive a complimentary six-day, five-night stay at the Caribbean’s only historic plantation inn located along the beach.
“When I first visited Nisbet Plantation, stepped around the corner of the Great House and saw the view down the avenue (now the Avenue of the Palms), it took my breath away,” says owner David Dodwell who also owns Nisbet Plantation’s sister property, The Reefs Resort & Club in Bermuda. “I had never seen anything like that and instantly fell in love with Nisbet. Gifting 12 vacations is the largest giveaway ever for our boutique hotel. Whether someone is a returning guest or visiting for the first time, in true Nisbet Plantation Beach Club hospitality, we invite everyone to celebrate 30 years of special moments that take your breath away.”
