A direct train connecting Luton Airport and London is to launch this summer, taking just 30 minutes to the terminal.
It will be good news for low-cost travellers with the airport operating flights with Ryanair, EasyJet and Wizz Air.
The new East Midlands Railway service, which will terminate in Corby on the northbound journey, will run between 6am and 10pm every half an hour on weekdays, as well as late night and early morning routes.
While there are currently train links between the city and the airport with Thameslink, the new route is set to be a faster, non-stop option.
The Luton Airport Express plans to open from May.
