Families looking to sample the delights of Crete can pour over the ancient history and deliciously healthy Mediterranean food of Koutouloufari. The village is located on the east of the island, near the cosmopolitan town of Hersonissos where there are a plethora of shops and bars. Visitors will feel instantly at home in Koutouloufari thanks to the great friendliness and hospitality of the local Cretan community, who will be keen to share with them their local delicacies or point them in the direction of a good local hike or horse ride.
Esperides Villas, Crete
Rouge and flat-roofed like much of the Cretan architecture, the Esperides Villas look striking against the crystal blue waters of the adjacent pools.
