The Portuguese National Tourism Office in the UK, VisitPortugal, has announced the details and issued invitations for the UK media webinar taking place on the 2nd December between 11am – approximately 12pm.  The webinar will be hosted by the President of Turismo de Portugal and President of The European Travel Commission (ETC), Luis Araujo, and the Portuguese Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Manuel Lobo Antunes.

The event will detail the latest news, announcements and key 2021 tourism strategy of the national tourism board – on the eve of a new year in which European tourism looks to thrive in light of a challenging year. From sustainability to exciting new projects, the UK media will gain an insight into what’s in store across the next 12 months for the nation recently awarded Europe’s Leading Destination for a 4th consecutive year (World Travel Awards 2020).

Regional delegates will also be in attendance, taking to the virtual floor to outline specific announcements for the individual territories. From Porto to the Algarve and the Islands, this virtual meeting will give the UK media a chance to look ahead to the new year for Portuguese tourism.
