Royal Caribbean International is extending its cruises to nowhere out of Singapore on Quantum of the Seas.
It will continue the sailings until 21 June 2021.
The short cruises on Quantum began in December 2020 and are only for Singapore residents.
The three-month extension was expected as the company recently announced the ship would stay in Asia for a few more months instead of repositioning to Alaska.
The short sailings have ‘wowed’ local cruisers, says Angie Stephen, Royal Caribbean MD for Asia Pacific.
“Our close partnership with the Singapore Government has played an instrumental role in the success of these pilot cruises, and we remain committed to safeguarding the health and safety of our guests and crew.”
Sailings observe the CruiseSafe Certification standards which were developed by the Singapore Tourism Board.
Genting owned cruise line Dream Cruises also offers cruises to nowhere out of Singapore and has also extended its season for several months.
