Seattle next up for Singapore Airlines
Singapore Airlines announced its fourth nonstop route to the US will take flight next year.
Direct service from Singapore to Seattle will launch on September 3, 2019
It will initially fly three times a week and then add a Sunday weekly flight from October 2019.
SIA also serves San Francisco, Newark, Los Angeles and Houston via Manchester, UK.
Airbus A350-900 aircraft will operate on the route, offering 42 business class and 24 premium economy seats, as well as 187 seats in the main economy cabin.
“The new services will further strengthen the Singapore hub by providing customers faster and more convenient connectivity,” said Singapore Airlines CEO Goh Choon Phong.
The new flights were announced as SIA begins flying to Los Angeles this Friday.
It is also increasing the number of weekly flight to San Francisco from seven to 10 flights from later this month.
