Singapore Airlines extends loyalty member benefits
Due to the lack of opportunities for air travel caused by ongoing border closures, Singapore Airlines is automatically extending members’ loyalty tier status for another year.
It applies to Priority Passenger Service (PPS) Club and KrisFlyer Elite memberships that are due to expire from March 2021.
It is the second time SA has extended loyalty benefits.
It did it last April when global travel restrictions kicked in and Singapore went into a partial lockdown.
“This is in appreciation of the loyalty and support that members have shown over the last year and to allay any concerns that they may have about membership renewal during this time,” the airline said.
Elite miles earned in the 12 months before the latest extension will automatically be credited back into accounts when the membership is auto-extended between March 2021 and February 2022.
The airline relaunched the KrisFlyer’s Elite Gold Rewards program as KrisFlyer Milestone Rewards, which offers a variety of new rewards for every 5,000 Elite miles accrued when flying on Singapore Airlines, SilkAir and Scoot.
