Budget carrier Spirit Airlines is adding a new route out of Sin City to SoCal.
It will link Las Vegas to Orange County, California starting 17 November.
“We are excited to bring more low-cost options to our Southern California guests with new service to John Wayne Airport,” John Kirby, Spirit Airline’s Vice President of Network Planning, said in a press release.
Californians traveling via Las Vegas have convenient connections to another 15 major US cities, Spirit says.
On the same day Spirit is also launching flights twice a day from John Wayne Airport to Oakland.
“We are excited to welcome a new airline partner, Spirit Airlines, to John Wayne Airport,” said Barry Rondinella, Airport Director of John Wayne Airport, Orange County.
The Spirit fleet of aircraft have HEPA filters which it says capture 99.97% of particles and filter the air for contaminants every three minutes.
The wearing of face masks is mandatory on all flights.
