Sweden and Germany added to quarantine list
Sweden and Germany have been removed from the UK Government’s travel corridor.
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps said anyone returning from either country after 4m on Saturday will need to quarantine for two weeks.
No destinations have been added to the safe travel list.
Under the current lockdown in England – which began today – domestic and international leisure travel has been banned although people already overseas are not required to return.
Overseas travel for work reasons is still permitted.
