Singapore’s Civil Aviation Authority has given the green light for the use of IATA’s Travel Pass digital health app. From May 1, passengers will be able to share their Covid-19 PCR test results with their airline during check-in and on arrival at the immigration checkpoints at Singapore Changi Airport.
Last month Singapore Airlines conducted tests of IATA’s Travel Pass with passengers on its Singapore to London flights which it says proved successful.
Singapore’s health and immigration authorities have said they will accept the app as a valid form of Covid-19 compliance. The app generates a QR code which is scanned by immigration officers.
