Chinese online travel giant Trip.com has teamed up with Etihad Airways to offer the airline’s frequent travellers more options to earn miles.
Etihad Guest loyalty members will get three Etihad Guest Miles for every US$1 or equivalent when booking a hotel stay via a special link at www.trip.com/w/etihadguest
Etihad customers also get access to special deals.
Trip.com’s inventory spans over 200 countries and regions and 1.4 million properties.
“We are delighted to be partnering with Etihad Guest to maximise benefits for travellers from the Middle East and around the globe,” said Trip.com Group Chief Marketing Officer Bo Sun.
The tie-up is part of Trip.com’s PointsPLUS, which allows partner airline frequent flyer members to earn reward miles or points when making a hotel booking.
“This year, we’re committed to growing our partnership footprint, to bring more choice and greater rewards. This new partnership with Trip.com will increase our presence across the Far East,” said Yasser Al Yousuf, Vice President of Commercial Partnerships at Etihad.
