Visitors to the Bahamas will not need a negative Covid test as long as they have been vaccinated.
Starting 1 May, they will be exempt from any testing requirements for entry and inter-island travel.
Vaccinated travelers will still need to register for the Bahamas Travel Health Visa and then upload vaccination details.
Unvaccinated visitors must continue to adhere to the current entry requirements which needs a pre-travel PCR negative test and an additional rapid antigen test if stayig for five days or longer.
“This will greatly assist our economy and will also assist in reducing the number of infections,” said Bahamian Prime Minister Hubert Minnis..
Americans returning home will still need to take a negative PCR or rapid antigen test prior to their US bound flight.
